Leah Killian
Design Team Manager
Leah Killian, our Design Team Manager, is a North Dakota girl traveling the world at the side of her air force husband, Chris. Currently residing in California, she keeps herself busy being the mother of three crazy adorable children, Jonas, Maggie, and Gabriel, reading, and eating as much Mexican food as she can find. Leah started scrapping over a decade ago, long before scrapping was the art form it is today, and way before scrapping was cool. Now, many, many layouts later, she can usually be found up to her elbows in paper and adhesive working on the next project. Leah has a passion for writing and enjoys keeping her blog, "Life as Lou" which is a compilation of short stories from her life and her scrapbooking projects. She is very excited to be a part of this great kit club!

Zarah S Peterson
Designer
This is Zarah. She's a pretty strange little thing. While she's no longer on the DT here, she clings on for dear life, thus earning the status of "alumni, part of the inventory and newsletter lady extraordinaire".
Having been (a very happy, proud and spoiled rotten - since the bosses around this place are fantastic, and the teammates rock) part of this DT for several semesters, she's now retired but she's still subscribing as she's developed a serious addiction to the kits, and she's the one who makes your mailbox happy with Nook Newsletters too.
If you ever want to say hi to her on the messageboard, her nickname there is zarischka - and she's the one who's NEVER quiet...

Stacey Michaud
Designer
Hi all! My name is Stacey Michaud. I am married to a great guy and we have two wonderful children! I am a teacher during the day and an avid scrapbooker by night! Loving all things paper, I scrap to create keepsakes for my family and friends. When designing layouts, my favorite part is being able to tell the story behind the photos. I use my layouts as an opportunity to express my innermost feelings, good or bad, so that my family and friends will know just how I feel about them. Paper serves as my muse and I love gaining inspiration from the products around me. I have been blessed enough to be published in Scrapbook Trends and Memory Makers magazine as well as several idea books! Along with The Nook, I am currently designing for Pink Paislee and Scrapstreet.com Magazine. The Nook is an amazing place full of friendly and talented people. I am proud to call this place home! I consider myself super lucky to be a part of such an inspiring design team and community.

Camilla Ekman
Designer
I'm Camilla Ekman from southern Sweden. I work as a Montessori teacher and when I'm off work I do what I love most - that is of course scrapbooking. My favourite scrapping subjects are my children Julia and Filip, but every now and then my dear husband Lasse ends up on a page or two. I have scrapped since early 2007 and enjoyed every minute of my hobby. Through scrapbooking I keep my memories alive but above all I get to be creative. I get to use my hands! I would say that I tend to scrap romantic and shabby. I love using flowers, bling and lace. When I don't scrap I enjoy books, travelling and spending lots of time with friends. I currently design for Kaisercraft and Zva Creative and I'm soooo lucky to be doing my fourth term here at the Nook!!! The Nook kits are to die for and there are so many wonderful ladies to chat with on the messageboard. See you there!

Tanya Tahir
Designer
Hi, my name is Tanya Tahir and I live in Perth, Western Australia with my husband and our two beautiful little boys. I started scrapbooking in 2005. In the past two years I have become very passionate about scrapbooking and usually do something scrap-related every day! I don't know that I have a particular scrapping style but I love white space, layering, 3 dimensional, and stitching and you will find at least one of these on each layout that I create. I love bold brights, but I also dabble in vintage and pretty soft colours, it all depends on my mood and inspiration. I have a great love of photography and get immense joy from scrapping my favourite photos of my family and friends and telling the story behind them.
I am regularly published in the Australian magazines, Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations and have been very fortunate to have also been published in the US mags, Scrapbook Trends and Cards and UK mag, Scrapbook Inspirations.
I am so excited to be here for my second term at the Nook!

I am thrilled to be serving another term as a member of the team here at The Nook!!

Lori Mancini
Designer
Hi! My name is Lori Mancini and I live in Ontario Canada with my husband Dan and our two handsome son's Blake (15) and Jared (12). I started scrapbooking as a way to record thoughts and feelings about our family life and little did I know that it would quickly turn into “MY LIFE” and is now a significant part of who I am and what I do.
When I’m not scrapbooking until the wee hours of the morning I enjoy spending time with family and friends and keep busy running our Custom Cabinetry business with my husband. Life sure can get hectic sometimes but I thrive on adventure and chaos and this hobby is just what I need to wind down and remind me of what is important.
I am honored to have had my work published in Canadian Scrapbooker, Scrapbook & Cards Today and Scrapbook Trends magazine’s. I am also currently designing for Collage Press and I am so to be asked back for a second term here at My Scrapbook Nook's Design Team. I am looking forward to inspiring all of you with my creations and being inspired by all of you while you join me on this amazing adventure!

HIlde L Aaslund
Designer
Hi! My name is Hilde L Aaslund aka Scoobie. I live in Norway with my husband, two boys (8 and 11) two English Cocker Spaniels, a cat and FIL. As I work full time as an engineer at construction sites, life quite busy. I started stamping cards six years ago and slowly transmitted into scrapping. Three years ago I discovered MyScrapbook Nook’s marvelous kits and forum and I must admit they both have had a large impact on my scrapping evolution. My style is mixed, but I often turn back to linear and simple designs. I still scrap to document our memories, and I scrap about anything: the kids, the pets, funny signs, our everyday life, holiday trips, our friends and neighbors – nobody is safe.
I am so proud to be on the DT for this awesome kit club. I hope my love for the kits and the forum will inspire you to visit the gallery, join the forum and have fun with the kits!

I am Stacey Hansen. Originally a Southern California city girl we moved to Colorado for small town life. I am loving all that the changes it has brought to our family. Scrapbooking is my creative outlet. A little paper, scissors and adhesive and this is one happy girl, and yes don’t forget a little bling here and there. Scrapbooking is my way to share the story of my life with my kiddos and to remember all the bee stings, boo boos, and accidental haircuts in theirs. I am so excited to be a part of this team.

Mahlin Wiggur
Designer
I´m Mahlin from Sweden. I work as a special ed´s teacher for kids with autism and Aspergers syndrome and then I go home to my wonderful husband, our son Vilmer and our siamese cat Andy.
I´ve been scrapbooking since 2007, but I´ve been crafting since the first day I got my hands on a pair of scissors. One might say I´m somewhat addicted to color . I also work with a lot of layers and detail on my layouts and you´ll often find clusters of embellies on my projects. Some have a passion for fashion, My great passion is all sorts of glitterglue. I am lost without my stickles. When I scrap I do it as art, and mostly just for myself, for the creative process. I feel good when I create. The memory keeping is a huge bonus but not my main goal, that´s why you won´t find so much journaling on my pages.
I am currently designing for American Crafts, Bella BLVD, Inkido, Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker and this awesome place, My Scrapbook Nook.

Crystal Bowman
Designer
My name is Crystal Bowman and I live in Brisbane, Australia with my partner Nathan (who is in the Australian Air-Force) and our 3 children, Lachlan (5), Lily (2) and Lucie (8 Months). I took up scrapbooking a few years ago as a way to meet new people when we moved interstate but it took a while for me to get hooked - To be honest, I have never really been a creative person and I have always hated sewing, cooking and art!! Now I have become a serial blog stalker, forum and challenge junkie and have recently had work accepted to be published in the Australian Magazines, Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations. I am also on the Creative Team for Stuck? Sketches
I am happy to have finally found "my style", clean and bright with lots of white space and doodling!! I can't wait to begin my journey here at The Nook and I hope I can inspire you all in some way!

Ginger Williams
Designer
Hi! I'm Ginger Williams from Tomball TX. I'm a 30 year old, mother of 3 little boys, wife to my best friend, an avid photographer, and a desperately addicted scrapbooker. I started scrapbooking back in 1996 when my mom took me with her to a Creative Memories party while I was still in high school. I was instantly hooked! In 2001 I had my first son and wandered into my LSS. Things have never been the same since that moment!
My scrabooking style is linear and layered. I adore texture, small details, and bright colors. Small geometric or striped patterns are my favorite paper designs. I love straight lines and my circle cutters and circle punches get a lot of work too! I also love bold titles, and any paper in my favorite color--orange! Mainly I scrapbook my family, but I sometimes venture into other subjects as well. I love to make home decor with my scrapbook supplies and I also make cards, mini albums, gift items, and design sketches. I design for Queen and Company, Creative Memories, Pebbles, Bella Blvd, and now My Scrapbook Nook!
As for my life outside scrapbooking, I love to read, quilt, surf, watch old musicals, listen to oldies rock n' roll and country music. I volunteer with my church, my boy's school, and the Cub Scouts. I also do a little photography on the side--mostly weddings.
I'm so very happy to be here and to be a part of this fabulous site!
