Hello!!

How many of you have had a chance to dig into your November kits? Aren't the jewel tones so pretty? I knew they'd be perfect for making cards.

I've put together a quick and simple card class for you, something I hope will inspire you to pull out your November kit and make some cards Smile

Materials:

November kit featuring Lily Bee Audrey-Graceful
-Cosmopolitan
-square die-cut
-American Crafts Vera Thickers
-October Afternoon alphas
-white shimmery cardstock
-black ribbon
-ink
-edge distresser
-pen for faux stitching
-pearls or other bling from personal stash

1. Cut white shimmery cardstock to 4 1/2 x 11 and fold. Ink edges.

2. Using square Lily Bee die-cut trim to 4 1/4 x 5 1/4. Simply first trim to 4 1/4 and then cut off the scalloped edge as shown. You can use the extra on another project Smile Ink edges, add faux stitching as you wish.

3. Cut paper strips for left side of card

"Cosmopolitan" paper: 1" x 4 1/2"
"Graceful" paper (reverse): 1 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Distress and ink edges, layer slightly off-center and adhere to card base.

4. Cut 2 flowers from "Graceful" paper and set aside for later.

5. Cut 6" piece of ribbon as well as a 4" piece of ribbon.
Slip shorter piece around longer one, tie knot and trim ends. Adhere to card and secure ends.

6. Attach two flowers cut from "Graceful" paper, add pearls and sentiment using alphas from the kit.

And there you go. A pretty but simple-to-make card. Very Happy
